Told through a lens of movement vignettes and no dialogue, this film explores a once real life relationship of a queer couple and the brief but meaningful moments of tenderness they shared. This project is part of the 9 part dance film series “Turbulent Kingdoms.”

Kit is a graduate of New Zealand School of Dance. His highlights from the school include performing in Political Mother by Hofesh Shechter and travelling to New York/ Shanghai for the Metamorphosis International Dance Residency.
Kit has danced with Rambert2 Dance Company for an installation in London. He created a full length choreographic work Utopia #9 during a residency at Wellesley Studios. The work features a self composed music score and premiered to a sold out audience at Tempo Dance Festival. It toured to Wellington to further critical success. Since then, Kit has worked with DancePlant Collective, danced with BalletCollective Aotearoa, Mary-Jane O’Reilly and Loughlan Prior. He is the winner of the 2020 AIMES Arts Award. Kit was the inaugural recipient of the Bill Sheat Dance Award in 2021.
Kit recently received CNZ funding towards his choreographic dance film series, Turbulent Kingdoms. He also was funded by the Peacocke Dance Trust for a residency in Italy at Orsolina28.
