Monty Wolfe was born in Texas and raised in Louisiana, but in 2012, he escaped to Portland, Oregon. There, he attended and graduated from Portland State University School of Film where his final school project, In Pieces, was a hit at film festivals and won several awards, including Best LGBTQ Short at The Oregon Independent Film Festival. Encouraged by the film’s success, Monty would go on to write, produce, and direct two more award-winning short films, including Treasure. Currently, Monty is working on post-production for his first feature film, a gay coming-of-age story.
