ABOUT THE ARTIST

Syrus is a master’s student at NCCU, an event photographer within the drag community, and an Iranian-American who grew up in Southern California. Throughout the years, Syrus has been lucky enough to get the chance to travel widely and returned to Taipei because he fell in love with the city and the people in it. Syrus loves hiking through mountains and biking through urban settings. He is especially fond of knowing where all of the best restaurants and cafes are in any city he inhabits. He is an avid consumer of High Fantasy novels as well as dry, non-fiction history books. Syrus’s aspiration with filmmaking is to get the opportunity one day to adapt some of the books he has read and make them into feature films.
