Coven of The Midnight Son is a queer fantasy re-envisioning of Romeo and Juliet, set during the era of the Salem Witch Trials. The story follows two lovers, Etho (Romelo Urbi) an orphaned witch, who lost his mother at a young age due to the trials; and Lucas (Jan Luce) a rebellious human villager, whose father becomes the head chief of the witch hunts. Though they come from two different worlds, love is what binds them together. As they each confront their familial issues, Etho and Lucas both must face the consequences that follow forbidden love.
